I’m Mary Gray.
When I was 11 I wasn’t allowed to sit in the front seat of the car because of the airbag warning said you had to be 13. Naturally, I gave a PowerPoint presentation to my parents to change their minds. It had stats to show that I was taller than the average 15-year-old and quotes from Mommy-bloggers who had made the tough decision to err from the airbag warning. I even called my pediatrician for an “expert opinion.” I’ve always been a scrappy strategist. And huge nerd. If you’re looking for one of those, shoot me an email. And if you’re curious about other PowerPoint presentations I gave to my parents before age 12, just ask.
